Marshmallow Peppermint Frosting

Yield: Will frost a 13x9-inch cake

Ingredients

Add water to shopping list 2 tablespoons water

Add granulated sugar to shopping list 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Add egg white, beaten stiff to shopping list 1 egg white, beaten stiff

Add marshmallow creme to shopping list 3/4 cup marshmallow creme

Add peppermint extract to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Add Few drops red food coloring to shopping list Few drops red food coloring

Add Few grains salt to shopping list Few grains salt

Directions:

Boil water and sugar together until the soft ball stage is reached (234 F. ). Slowly pour hot syrup over beaten egg white, beating constantly. Add marshmallow creme, extract, food coloring and salt; beat until cool.
